Luca Onorante is Deputy Head of Research at the Central Bank of Ireland and Head of the Macro Modelling Project. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute. He was an Economist at the European Central Bank from 2003 to 2013. Prior to this he was a Research Assistant at the European University Institute and consultant at the UNCTAD. He has also taught Macroeconomics at the University of Bolzano.

His research interests concern all aspects of the Project, with an emphasis on fiscal policy, structural output, the Phillips curve and the role of expectations, times series econometrics, Bayesian methods of model estimation and Model Averaging.

He is interested in collaboration on all of the above topics.
