Reamonn Lydon is a Manager in the Irish Economic Analysis Division (IEA), Central Bank of Ireland. He holds a PhD from the University of Warwick (Labour Economics and Microeconometrics). Prior to joining the IEA division, he was a senior Economist in the Financial Stability Division at the Central Bank.  He was Deputy Head of Economics at the Aviation Regulator (Dublin) from 2007 to 2010, and a Senior Consultant at Frontier Economics (London) from 2002 to 2007.

His research interests cover the financial sector and interactions with the real economy, financial sector statistics, modelling and forecasting aggregate consumption, labour markets and time-series modelling.
