Dawn Holland is a consultant for the ESRI, leading the Institute’s work on structural modelling as part of the Joint Macro Modelling Project. Prior to joining the team, she was a Principal Research Fellow and Head of Macro-modelling work at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR), London, where she worked from 1996-2013. She has acted as an advisor to the House of Lords of the UK Parliament and the European Court of Auditors, and was on the editorial board of the National Institute Economic Review from 2003-2013.

Her primary research focus has been on issues related to production functions and supply-side modelling, the role of risk premia in the demand for capital, fiscal multipliers and modelling expectations.
